RawQ is the product of a collaboration between our own KiloWatts and Belgian musician Vanek (Peter van Ewijk), who met over the internet and began composing music together, passing pieces of sound and inspiration back and forth, and only meeting face to face days before their first live performance in Augsburg, Germany.
The brilliant and seamless combination of KiloWatts' lush and engaging electronics with Vanek's warm vocals and catchy guitar gives the listener a capricious but complex canvas on which to gaze. The songs journey effortlessly between pop ballads and glitch-driven aural explorations, masterful throughout.
